I'm building an AI that shuts up
Most AI writing tools have the same problem: they write too much.
You ask for help with a sentence, you get three paragraphs back.
You paste in rough notes, it returns something that sounds like a LinkedIn post written by a robot pretending to be a human pretending to be professional.
Your voice disappears. Your thinking gets smoothed over. The thing you were trying to say gets replaced by what the model thinks you should say, your vernacular out the window.
I'm building something different.
What it is:
A document refiner that works alongside you — not instead of you.
You write & in tandem, it tightens what you already said: grammar, structure, word choice. It doesn't add ideas. It doesn't rewrite your sentences into something unrecognizable. It refines.
Think of it like a copy editor who respects that you meant what you wrote.
Who it's for:
- Developers writing API docs, READMEs, and technical specs
- Writers who want a second pass without losing their voice
- Students drafting papers who need grammar help, not ghostwriting
- Anyone who takes notes and wants them cleaner without starting over
Current Status:
Early development. Working on the core refinement logic — how to preserve tone while improving clarity.
